Got myself a record player yesterday!

So, I pulled out all of these old records. It's really cool! Listened to lots of Pink Floyd, Genesis and Queen etc. DSOTM and Wish You Were Here are brilliant to listen to on vinyl.

 

It makes listening to music so much more fun and authentic than if you were listening with a CD or mp3 player.

But now I'm inspired to go out and get the Coldplay albums on vinyl:D:D yay!

 

Does anyone else have a record player?

I gotta try and track down Parachutes now...cos thatd be the best to just sit down and listen to with headphones on vinyl.

..Well, any of the albums would be great, but Parachutes would just be cool, being the oldest and all.

I'm still amazed vinyl is offered in these modern times!! I did that not too long ago - dug out the really important records - Peter, Paul, and Mary; Snoopy's Christmas; The Muppet Album!:D

Most of Dad's old stuff is all classical :\ But I got a bunch of Beatles albums at a yardsale last summer. :cool:

Mom found mine at a yard sale for about ten bucks last year. Hardly even used. You should keep an eye out if you want one. She said she's seen quite a few others at yard sales since.

Sounds so funny when you put it either slow or fast.
