Thanks zzz for the info.. photoshop seems to be what most people use.. I don't use it at home because it costs a fortune (I do have it at work) but I use the Gimp.. which is what I am comfortable with.. you know how you know where everything is? But I do think Photoshop has more 'stuff'... although when you're just drawing... who needs all that stuff anyway?

Well, I use quite a lot of this stuff, especially the brushes option, some of the filters, and lots of the colour settings and properties. All the different functions seem distracting/confusing for people that don't PS that often, but once you start working with it, every other graphic program pisses you off LOL

It's all about what u are used to for software. There are people who can draw fantastic things in Painter, I tried it but just couldn't get the hang of it because it didn't feel right and tools were in the wrong place.

well, the left part of my earlier picture of Jonny (and avi) is finished. With some helpful tips form Thaila ;)

Not sure if I'm completely pleased with it, but oh well, ... time for something new.
