Cobalt
I'm trying the same thing but it'll be very hard to get front row. To quote, "their tickets are like gold dust", especially to fans.
KissesBirds
I am so with you on the front row in Chicago thing. All I want is one at least! Fingers crossed!
crestingwaves
I got a front row. However, I was first in line for my show and I waited from 12 midday, when the doors opened at 7pm :smug: Yes..it was worth it. Yes it was the happiest day of my life. Yes my legs were extremely sore from being all line all day. Yes i am a die-hard fan. Lol, my advice pretty much is just get there early.

Well in arenas, don't you have assigned seats when you buy the tickets? Did you have general admission? Anyways im willing to do anything

Then they did the dumbest thing ever: a raffle for your place in line. So I went from first to last. Completely unfair. I am one of those who has to be front row this time. I'll do almost anything as well. Within reason.

Did you see them in Chicago in 2006 @ United Center? Wasn't that assigned seats? I was with my sister and her friend they had an extra ticket and I went with, we had something like row 20... Getting their early will get you a front row not buying a front row ticket? or are they Gen Admission?
crestingwaves
Yeh, we had General Admission on the floor. But I had bought a Gold Ticket...so I'm not quite sure what that meant as opposed to Silver. Because if I had rocked up late, I wouldve been up the back, with 100s of Silver Ticket people infront of me. I spose it depends on the venue. crazyduckette
yeah, I went to a festival and there were people who just waited at Stage 1 the whole day so that they could be in the front I did this at the Isle of Wight Festival 2006. Got up at 8am......waited in blistering sun, ran across 4 fields and got to the front barrier and waited there til 9.30pm when Coldplay came on. I must have been INSANE.:( Waiting for gigs to be at the front can be tough.....Ive done it for stuff and mean people push in, and it can get really crappy. Its worth it though. The view from the front is THE best.

bart
Dont do what I tend to do. ! When I went to see Coldplay in Bolton on the 2nd night. I turned up 10 minutes before the gig was due to start as I had to finish a pint. When I went in the gig me and my friends made ourway to the front, then some girls got really upset and said they had been waiting since 4PM... in the end the whole section that was around that area started booing at us.. So we took a few steps back.. Its a pity they never knew who I was... but I was not going to waste time on the simple folk telling them !!!
