^ Yeah it was nuts. I really really want to go to a game. If they go really deep I'm going to ask dad if we can go to a game. Hes a huge fan as well.

Poor Gerber got peppered tonight!

That would be an awesome experience if you got to go.

In other news, I feel bad for Patrick Thoresen.

WASHINGTON (AP) -Flyers left wing Patrick Thoresen was taken to the hospital for tests after getting hit in the groin by a shot off Alex Ovechkin's stick during Philadelphia's 5-4 loss to Washington on Friday night.

"He's going to the hospital to get an ultrasound done on his testicles. It's bad enough they may have to remove one," Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren said. "Right now, we're not sure how serious it is, but there's a chance he may need surgery."

Thoresen blocked Ovechkin's shot with about 6 1/2 minutes left in the game, then dropped to the ice, writhing in pain. Moments later, Washington scored to tie the game 4-4.

"Obviously, I'd have liked to see a whistle," Flyers coach John Stevens said.

Thoresen was helped off the ice and taken to the locker room.

The question for Patrick Thoresen is:

Protective Cup? or Stanley Cup?

 A comment worthy of Don Cherry!!!! I missed the game, but I'm assuming from the last post that the Habs won?

Nice going for the comeback. That's how I felt with Ottawa last night...they made a great push, but it just wasn't enough.

And Sens are up right now!

  • Author

...and the Sens have no hope.

Haha... 3-0.

That's tough to fight back.

In other news, Dave Nonis got fired!

I hope this doesn't mean they won't resign Naslund. :(

  • Author

Nonis did nothing for the team other than get Luongo.

Red Wings vs Canadiens in Stanley Cup Finals. Who will win? I guess we'll find out.

(Red Wings will win) :D

I hate to admit it, but Detroit propably would win, but you never know.

Ottawa's f**ked!

*shakes Boston's hand*
