Ugh, its a long story, but here goes, I'll try to shorten it...

So at school, in year 10 (10th grade) I got to pick what science I did, I got to choose between

Biology

Chemistry

Physics

Combined (all three)

Triple (all three but as seperate lessons)

BTEC (all coursework, no exams)

 

I chose BTEC as the easy option, however I found it unchallenging and it doesnt look half as good on my CV and when applying for college. So 3/4 of the way through year 10 I moved from BTEC to combined. So I haven't been taught most of the work the exams are on. I'm now in year 11 and have 3 science exams in a couple of weeks, I am having to teach myself everything

. I am struggling to be honest as science has never been one of my stronger subjects, however I am trying, so there ya go...

I think I'm coming down with something too, I have half a blocked nose :| and my throat and chest are really soar and feel like they're burning.

I think I'll have a cup of tea.

if your nose is half-blocked, don't blow your nose. you only make yourself worse

 

as for the science...YIKES!!! that's some tough road!! but never fear, there is always a solution!! try this:

 

get your hands on some short articles/essays/pieces on whatever you have to read and read them first...that'll help you get a general idea of what you're gonna face.

 

next read and relate everything to real life experiences....

 

i used to talk to my chemistry book when i was doing chemistry and enter into an argument with it...it helped me remember and understand what i read.
