Indeed, if you ban it outright, it won't go away, it will go underground.

    sure

oh yeah you're -18 lol at british drinking age

long live continental drinking age[/color]

Yeah I can't drink for 2 1/2 years legally yet. I don't like the taste though or what it does to people.

Cigarette smoke, even though still disgusting, smells better than pot smoke. My cousin and her friends smoke pot, and I hate it.

I hate hate hate the smell of pot, it absolutely stinks. This girl in one of my classes came in (may I add I can't stand her) stinking of it once, so I purposely said loudly "can anyone smell weed, ugh it stinks" :laugh3: she was like "erm, what :uhoh:"

Some info for you:

Between the ages of 5 and 17, it is legally permissible for children to drink alcohol at home or at a friend's house with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

The minimum age for the purchase of alcohol is 18. People aged 16 or 17 may consume wine, beer or cider on licensed premises when ordered with a meal. In England and Wales, it must be an adult who orders; however, an adult doesn't have to be present to order alcohol with a meal in Scotland. The legal age for the purchase of alcohol from an off-licence (store/supermarket) is 18.

Oh, thanks, I didn't know that:)

However I don't think most of them are allowed to get pissed every other week :p

I just don't like the taste of what I've tried:/

It's one of the laws which is broken by most youngsters when they are teenagers.

Although when they are stupid and hang around street corners, bottles in full view and PC Plod comes knocking they are soon taught a lesson.
