new about the new album!

Featured Replies

my teacher has a friend who worked on the new album a bit... and he listened to the whole album... and he said that it is the most amazing thing that they have ever done... and that it will send sooo many chills down your spine and it is just absolutely stunning and incredible.

holy shit i am soooooo happy.

skeptical as well, i'm afraid.

same here

Oh, let's keep an open mind. I'd rather hear a little proof though. You can't blame everyone for being skeptical with so many rumours floating around.

I have similar reservations, the staff (discluding the band members) involved in the production and mixing of the band is very limited. I appreciate your enthusiasm, but if you could give us some names, or an extended explanation concerning exactly how your teacher's friend "worked" on the album, we might believe you... But we coldplay fans have had too much experience with false alarms and unsure information to take your word for it.

it depends on what the connectionis . because most of the mixing and mastering is done by people outside of the band. so if that person works in that field theres a very good chance that they have heard the entire album. but i really dont see how that changes anything unless they do what alot of people do and that is hack into the label's computer and leak the album

Exactly. I have a friend that works for Capitol, and as f know SHE hasn't even heard it yet...and I'd be WAY out of line asking, or I would. Names are probably not a good idea, but an explanation would be cool.

from what my teacher told me, his friend worked as an engineer on it.

i understand why everyone is skeptical about what i'm saying... but im not telling anyone that i've actually heard it or trying to make a rumor about it... im just telling them what my teacher told me about it... i dont see why anyone would get skeptical over somebody telling coldplay fans that they know somebody whos friend has heard the album, and said that it was completely amazing?

I want to believe, as they say on the X Files, lol. And I'd rather someone post on here that they've heard the album is amazing instead of someone posting on here saying it's shit...which will probably happen sooner or later.:)

Either way, I'm sure the album's going to be fantastic, and it's possible this is true...lots of people have 'a friend of a friend' so you never know.

i feel nothing. just afraid and happy and a bit sad. i dont know :dizzy:

Well, I've worked with Audrey Riley, who does Coldplay's string arrangements, aswell as Muse, Feeder and basically anyone else in your CD collection. I resisted the temptation to ask her if she was doing the new album. Nice lady though.

im reaaaaaally scared...and i want!but i cant!believe you XD
