Do coldplays songs sound the same?

Featured Replies

That's annoying how people say Coldplay songs all sound the same - well, if you're going to be that general, then so do all Muse songs. And all Keane songs, and all Rammstein songs... etc.

What really irritates me, too, is when people say Coldplay sounds like Radiohead. You've got to be borderline deaf to make that association. :P

Yeah, The songs are similar in genre but thats about it.

I wouldn't even go that far. I mean, easy to please and we never change vs. white shadows and talk. Completely different band. They went from indie-rock to rock to pop. with many shades of grey.

They do and they don't.

Makes no sence on first look I know, but I see it like this: all Coldplay songs are essentially different one from another and have something special to it, but when you listen to it, you know that it's Coldplay.

clocks and speed of sound a bit.

white shadows and low a bit.

thats it

wiki is a very reliable up-to-date source. i really believe it. and one of their songs had a hip hop beat but was dropped because it was beat by the rock version.
