hi...i don't know where im supposed to be posting this but still... im trying to get the free download of violet hill but it keeps asking me for my username and password? am i supposed to have got this from somewhere? someone please help me, im desperate to listen to it!

don't click on the link.

 

if you look closely, you'll see it has something like *47 on the end of the link, but it's not part of the link.

 

so copy and paste the whole thing with the *47 included on the end of it into your browser and press enter..

 

ad it'll download for it, mind it's a zip file, so you'll need to donwload a programme for that, but they're free and take minutes to download :]

 

like winzip.

If that doesnt work, go to the Multimedia section of this forum and find the thread with a mirror link of Violet Hill. There you can download it free with rapidshare, just click on the link, and wait a few minutes for it to download once your on the site.

but the link in the email is or WAS broken, you have to copy and paste an extra bit at the end of it which doesn't appear as a clickable link to get it to work :)

it asked me for my username and password when I tried to get it this early afternoon, but several hours later it just game me the file. so try again...
