May 2, 201115 yr I only aim for a B- for history :| A friggin' B- :| I remember revising/cramming so hard the night before my history exam a couple of years back and by the end of the night I was so overcome with exhaustion and stress that I was physically shaking. It wasn't nerves it was just I had totally gone beyond my stamina. It did not help one bit that I had a modern studies exam that same day meaning throughout the whole day my mind was totally concentrating hard on first an exam and then straight after that flat out revision. Good luck with your exam!
May 2, 201115 yr that sounds kinda scary i'll be so fucking freaked out before my history exams cos i know i won't have time to study enough and i have to get a 6 (again 7 is the best)...will probably be up all night studying though i know i shouldn't Just absolutely ATTACK the revision. I usually right down notes/quotes and read them out to myself while pacing up and down the room.
May 2, 201115 yr yep what i do is first read a few paragraphs and overline the most important things with a highlighter or w/e it's called and then write the most important stuff down. then on the last night i'll just read through the important stuff that i've written. thanks for the tips! pacing actually sounds pretty good cos then i won't get sleepy :P That's why I do it! It also stops me from becoming distracted easily. I'm usually someone who can't stop moving about so for me sitting down is a very hard task! :)

May 3, 201115 yr that's awesome! I wish I was taking a Beatles exam I'd ace it :smug: It's a pretty great class, especially for Beatle newbies. I'm really enjoying it. My teacher said whoever can get either Paul or Ringo to come to class and do a guest lecture would get 15 extra credit points. :P Haha, I know a bunch of you guys in WOM would definitely get 100%.

May 3, 201115 yr yeah... so what exactly is the class about... like I mean is it just a history class going through the bands career, or do you spend time analyzing their songs and albums? It's both of that. We briefed over John and Paul's childhood life; we start from the Quarrymen and move on from there. My teacher lectures on each album along with the important events going on during those albums (e.g., Shea Stadium). We're also learning very basic music theory, and analyzing the Beatles' individual styles. Other stuff we've been learning includes their films (I LOVED A Hard Day's Night and Help :wacky: ) and the important people who have worked with the Beatles or influenced them throughout the years. That's basically it . . .
May 3, 201115 yr oh no.....it's tomorrow:uhoh: I feel like I am going to fuck this up...meh I hope that your feeling is proven wrong and that you will do fine. I will cross my fingers for you and other coldplayers going to exams these days / weeks. :fingers crossed: GOOD LUCK.
