May 11, 200818 yr people say coldplays concerts are going to be very different and special. what i think about what might happen is the lighting will be purpleish, bluish more vibrant colors. Also there may be some dancers because of VIVA LA VIDA?! I hope. and they're colthing will be ripped jackets with blue green and purple like the promo viva la vida photo. converse shoes and what not. feedback please.
May 11, 200818 yr "A lot of projection" according to Dave Holmes. I hope they tour with a string quartet. How cool would that be?

May 11, 200818 yr A string quartet would be intensely cool. Imagine how they could spice up some other songs like Clocks (although I wouldn't want it to be overused... personally I prefer Eno-synths).
May 11, 200818 yr I actually have no idea what to expect... but I bet its going to be epic. I think there may be a lot more colour in their shows, in terms of lighting and what they put on the huge screens behind them. But really, who knows. I think its going to be really arty, either way.

I can't believe to this day that my hero of the recording world worked with my favorite band!! That still blows my mind!:D

That still blows my mind!:D I actually "discovered" Brian Eno just last year, and I got his latest CD and fell in love with it. I told my mom about it and she was like, "Oh yeah, Brian Eno. The potheads used to listen to that alot when I was in college. I remember his music was relaxing." It blew my mind that he was still in the business and still making great music. But then when I found out he was helping Coldplay with their next album it sealed the deal - there's no way this album will be subpar. Eno recognizes quality, and even though some people think he's sort of pretentious I think he should be allowed to be.

He'll bring music out of them they didn't even know they were capable of making!:D
May 11, 200818 yr Author the reason why i said coldplay fans can be asked to come onto the satge because VIVA LA VIDA!? Live on life or w/e it means. at CP concerts im sure they want there fans to have as much fun as possible go on stage and dance and move around them running and all! i hope. it will be AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
May 11, 200818 yr a string quartet would be disasterous. they don't work live most of the time, it's too difficult to maintain intonation
May 11, 200818 yr Dancers? I don't think that combination works well, I just can't imagine Coldplay+dancers... Chris dances enough
May 11, 200818 yr Paintings in live for each song... :cool4: A show more extensive... :D ... and newer arts scenes! (... painting, graffiti, photography, printmaking, sculpture, dance, theatre and filmmaking!) :o
May 11, 200818 yr I want the green laser back for Clocks, way better than the red one. Other than that as long as I can dance and i don't get wet/burnt, I'm happy
May 11, 200818 yr What do they mean when they say "more projection"? Im wondering the same.. Who knows, maybe a much bigger screen or they are just talking about the concert in general. Either way its going to be an insane concert
