Tnspieler1012
Coldplay generally sounds nothing like radiohead. However, radiohead was their strongest influence in the early days when they were just starting out. Today they've grown to sound nothing like RH, but the farther back you go, the closer to Radiohead you get. "Easy To Please" was clearer influenced by bulletproof. It's not a ripoff because it has a unique arrangement and some really cool background effects. But bulletproof...I wish I was, is definitely in there. As far as overall sound, "bigger stronger" has a rawness typical of early radiohead. Such a Rush isn't radiohead-esque in terms of it's sound, but I'm sure the theme of the song was taken right off of "the tourist". I could probably throw "only superstition" in there too. A new record!!:laugh3: When are posters like this going to figure out that this is a tired old argument that we've been through here time and time again, and it doesn't get a rise out of anyone anymore.? Pseudonym
Without a doubt "Easy to Please" I get a vibe from it that reminds me of "Exit Music (For A Film)" Also "Only Superstition"
TraceOddity
EAsy To Please does sound heavily influenced by RH, and I'd forgotten about Exit Music. Good point.

airieslady
Karma Police and Fix You... I love both of those winers!! I think Chris and Thom should do a duet (like Ivory and Ebony... we go together perfectly!!!) they could do a whole album called "Duets...Just Do It" by the Famous Frontmen...LOL!!! And both bands are my favorites... Yes, they are! I am seeing both multiple times this year... :P
