I think he was talking about the boards at msn. But he was clearly doing it to tick people off and get a response and some attention. Mostly I think the guy is just jealous and pissed off that they are so successful. They clearly have talent, he just doesn't want to accept it or give them any credit.

*Sigh* I'm not even going to bother to comment. The guy is wasting his, and everybody else's time. Ricky Gervais gave Chris a sense of humour? Come on. If he really knew what Chris was like he would know that he's always been quirky and charming Like that. And there's so much other stuff in that article that shows he hasn't got anything better to do than to take a swing at the band.

As soon as I read this line, it was obvious to me, that his opinions are totally unfounded.

 

This is the kind of mindless bashing I try to ignore. He hasn't even heard the new album, for goodness sake. He's not worth the attention he's trying to get.

It's funny how he seems to think Coldplay have been given an easy time by critics up until now... this very moment when he published his little rant on the internet. Apparently he hasn't read the dozens of terribly negative reviews of all their other records.
