Its just we went to see Indy 4 today and I really liked it. When I was a kid I wanted to be an archaeologist cos I thought, "Great! I get a bullwhip and kick the crap outta Nazis!" Then I discovered archaeology requires the patience of a saint and Nazis aren't really a problem anymore so that was the end of that. Plus, using a bullwhip is hard and I fuckin hurt myself onetime when I gave it a go. I learned my lesson....after about the sixth or seventh time lol.

Jesus H. Christ! Dude, download NOW. Raiders is still the best, I love Last Crusade for the great dynamic between Ford and Connery (awesome stuff in Nazi castle, classic!) and Temple is actually the second movie but, while its truest to its root of the old 1930s movie serials it can actually be considered kinda racist these days with monkey brain stew - I shit thee not. Still, the alligators at the end make up for it - lets just say they go "MUNCH!"

 

Indy 4 has a great kinda 1950's b-movie vibe. The first 3 are set in the 30s before WW2 whereas this one is in the 50s with Area 51 etc. The movies are meant to feel like they could've been made in their respective time periods.

 

WARNING: WATCH THEM IN SEQUENCE (Raiders, Temple & Crusade) or else you won't fully appreciate Crystal Skull cos so much of the stuff is set up in the first 3.
