May 28, 200818 yr Does anybody know where it is? I sound like a stalker! All I know is that it's in Primrose Hill...somewhere in London :D Sorry if a thread similar to this is floating around... just curious :D
May 28, 200818 yr Author STALKER! pssst...if you find out PM me:laugh3: haha! :P wel im going to london next week (no exams at the end of it hehe - half way through my wonderful things) so i might, you know, hunt for a bakery in primrose hill....
May 28, 200818 yr i hope to find it too someday :nice: the thing is, i bet i'd pass it and never know, because i sincerely doubt there's a big neon sign with a blinking arrow reading "COLDPLAY'S THE BAKERY--ALL FANS WELCOME!! VLVODAAHF RECORDED HERE!!" :laugh4: i bet it just looks like some everyday building, but for some reason i imagine it being brick.
May 28, 200818 yr Anyone up for taking a day off and trekking up to london in search for this place? Bring a camera! (and a crowbar :sneaky:)
May 28, 200818 yr I'm going to London this summer!!! Definitely going to do a quick search for The Bakery!
May 28, 200818 yr Anyone up for taking a day off and trekking up to london in search for this place? Bring a camera! (and a crowbar :sneaky:) I'd do that... but it's like at the other side of the word
May 28, 200818 yr Anyone up for taking a day off and trekking up to london in search for this place? Bring a camera! (and a crowbar :sneaky:) i was under the impression we already were...:P (just kidding, of course, because i doubt we'd find it and it's not like they'll be there anyway. still...i think it's in the neighborhood of abbey road...:sneaky:) you've got to get the crowbar; i don't think that will fly with airport security

VLVODAAHF RECORDED HERE!!" :laugh4: i bet it just looks like some everyday building, but for some reason i imagine it being brick.:laugh3: Its most likely to be brick, yeah. I think the trick would be to look for any extra security on the windows or the doors, that wouldn't be there otherwise. Pfff, but what do I know. But if there's a burly security guard standing in front of an average looking building in a backstreet alley, I would have quite a lot of reason to be suspicious :P
May 28, 200818 yr i was under the impression we already were...:P (just kidding, of course, because i doubt we'd find it and it's not like they'll be there anyway. still...i think it's in the neighborhood of abbey road...:sneaky:) you've got to get the crowbar; i don't think that will fly with airport security :lol:Haha, well I'll see what I can dig out of my garage :sneaky: But if it is located near Abbey Road, well... I think some snooping around is in order :P Wouldn't it be great though if we were actually the first ones to find it? Doubt anyone else has, and I also doubt that anyone is rabidly obsessed enough to actually bother looking for it. Hmm, I need to stop fantasising about these things, I'm starting to worry myself
May 28, 200818 yr haha, well abbey road is in st. john's wood, which is right next to primrose hill (which is also where violet hill is located, not to mention the bakery itself ), which is very near camden, where coldplay got their start...and we do know the exact address of their old place :D same, i'm getting too excited. but i think part of one of my three days there might just be spent in that part of london...:P
May 28, 200818 yr I think you might know London better than I do! :stunned: Not good :P But... I would be up for exploring that area for a day. That's if I don't turn out to be an annoying sod on the first day, of course :P And judging by your knowledge on the subject, I think you'll be giving ME the tour, and not the other way around!
May 28, 200818 yr haha, well it helps to be pretty much obsessed with the place :laugh3:. it's safe to say that i know london much better than NYC (in theory, anyway), and i practically LIVE in NYC! i'm also a bit freakish about these sorts of things...my internal compass is pretty good :P and you're NOT going to be an annoying sod, so quit worrying! :laugh4:. and you're not supposed to be giving me a tour, we're supposed to be hanging! so come with me :D
May 28, 200818 yr Haha, fair enough :P Good news about having a good internal compass though... could come in useful if we end up in northern ireland :dozey: I'll come with you though, for sure! There's no way I would want to miss it :nice:
May 28, 200818 yr I searched all of North London for Jonny. The closest I got was a monkey named Johnny at the London Zoo. :P
May 28, 200818 yr hahahaa, angie, that's cracking me up! apparently they all live in/around primrose hill now, though? i think some recent article said that they could all walk to the bakery from their respective houses. i'm assuming that's a pretty posh area, then. semy: i think us crossing a sea might give us a hint we're on the wrong track, but my weirdo brain doesn't let me forget things, as you know, so if i've been there once i can work my way out of anything ;). aaaaand i'll be laden with guidebooks too :P coldplay-town stalking FTW!!
May 28, 200818 yr I searched all of North London for Jonny. The closest I got was a monkey named Johnny at the London Zoo. :P HAHAA this is awesome  And I'm in for the bakery searching/crowbar shenanigans if I win tickets to the london show :P
May 28, 200818 yr I searched pubs, parks, shops, bong stores...everywhere. I even went to some jazz place and asked for him, the guy at the door just looked at me like "stupid fucking American" but damnit I had to try because Jonny might have still been jazz! :laugh3:
May 28, 200818 yr Chris Martin lives 40 seconds of walking from The Bakery, and its in north of London, Belgravia
May 28, 200818 yr Lets just get all members up to Primrose Hill, and make a huge 'stakeout' circle around it, then they can't get out of the area without us knowing :sneaky: They'll have to leave sometime...
May 28, 200818 yr I'm going to London October 6th through 11th. Who wants to find the bakery with me then?
May 28, 200818 yr i remember when i was in berlin, and we found the U2-studio, we just went right into the building, and no one stopped us, and we just walked around in the whole building.
May 28, 200818 yr the guy who interviewed them with the NME when they gave away the vinyl said it's hidden deep at the back of an alley. then again, chris said he used to walk past it everyday and think "what an ugly building"
