June 1, 200818 yr Seeing as we haven't heard the album yet it's hard to tell but on the basis of descriptions etc... what songs do you think would be contenders for 3rd/4th or even 5th single? (I'm counting Viva la Vida as 2nd single because of how it's charted and all that).
June 1, 200818 yr Death and All His Friends seein as it was on Grey's ... 42 was the rumoured first single, and I'm betting it'll crop up at some point And Lost! sounds like it has a fair bit of commercial appeal from the brief clip we've heard
June 1, 200818 yr I will LMFAO if 42 isn't a single or if it is actually a bad song :laugh3:. Everybody just expect a lot from that song i hope you won't feel disappointed..
June 1, 200818 yr yeah, ive got to say im in the middle on 42, because its getting this epic hype, and im kind of expecting let down. which in fact is the best type of expectation, because its more than likely going to exceed my expectations.
June 1, 200818 yr Author I voted - Death and All His Friends - Because it was Grey's and we all know what happens to songs which are on Grey's. 42 - Because of the same reason everyone else did. Cemeteries of London - It was rumoured in the early stages to be first single and the descriptions sound amazing.
June 1, 200818 yr "Lost!" seems more radio-friendly than most others... If "42" is as epic and different as everyone says, it may not get released. Singles are made to be played on the radio; the best songs aren't always singles. If they were, "White Shadows" would've been a single and "The Hardest Part" most certainly would not have been.
June 2, 200818 yr I definately think Lost! will be one at least. I havn't heard the rest so it's hard to know.
June 2, 200818 yr I went for Cemeteries because I think it has potential to have a fucking brilliant video! - a ghost story song? with chris walking through a cemetery at night with fog underneath his feet. and I went for lost! - because it's a brilliant song.
