I think X&Y garnerd so many new fans that this time out must be crazier since they're all now joining here instead of the official forum. I lurked on here during X & Y, popping in from the official forum site , during the craziness that broke out then. I never was, nor still am I nonstop-poster, as I just dont have time to try to keep up! So many threads are dizzying for me! I am self taught on even using a computer, never learned to type( i peck words like a chicken!). Guess I`m old enough now to not feel I need to be posting on every passing fling of a thread that comes along. But ,wow! I enjoy the people on this board...the "band of brothers we are" feeling that comes from this group, oldie or newbie. I also am learning so much from the lot of you regarding my computer, multimedia, etc. And I would love to meet Ian someday.

Just thanks to all here, be it full time residents/ or the odd lurkers...(and there are many!:laugh3:) for being a welcoming lot...it`s a fun place to be to share our passion for the same music..

yeah I'm gonna have to agree with you. I think when X&Y came out was just OUT OF CONTROL.. but I think it also has to do with how well the board was prepared. There were some times where the board was just oh so slow and people were going crazy and all the excitement and hype, it was great though.

 

PS: I really love how a lot of newbies or oldie lurkers have been sharing with us about how much they love this forum and feeling welcomed and at home.. and awww! I LOVE IT :nice: I'm glad you guys decided to finally joined us in the craziness! :D

I suggested making it only visible to members who have posted a certain number of times.

 

But that suggestion got burned down as you will have new members spamming until they reach that number of posts
