Is anyone from Ireland able to help me? :) I would be very grateful.

Do you know the best connection between Dublin and Cork? Perhaps there is a cheap train link between both cities? I want to visit my brother in Dublin in two months and I would really love to see Cork as well, but I have no clue about public transport in Ireland. :D

Thanks in advance!

I think the best is the bus . . . Cheaper than the train :

I travelled a lot with this company.

Wow, that was quick, thanks a lot!

I already found www.irishrail.ie which looks good, too. Have you ever used this company so far?

Lol the last sentence made me laugh! :D

Well I'd rather take the train instead of the bus to be honest, because it's probably quicker (but also more expensive). I only want to do a one-day-trip to Cork. :)

Ahh quicker . . . But yep more expensive.

So you're going to Cork and you don't need to return to Dublin after ??

Right ?

Well I need to return to Dublin and I want to be back on same day, because I don't want to spend money for accommodation in Cork. :D I can stay for free in Dublin.

So it should be a one-day-trip to Cork. :)

That sounds great! :nice: My brother also loves Dublin, but he said Ireland is very expensive. Good they have the euro as official currency, too. It's easier to compare prices then. :)
