Is Stubhub reliable??

Featured Replies

I know the tickets on there are way more expensive but i was just wondering if anyone knows if they are a reliable site?

Reliable in what sense? I've purchased tickets from them in the past. Their prices are inflated, but you do get the tickets you ask for. So I suppose they are reliable in that sense?

I haven't used their customer service, so I'm not sure if they are reliable in that sense.

yea i was just wondering about the whole tickets thing. Thanks!

Reliably expensive by the sound of things..............................

I have used the site to get college basketball tickets before, and it seemed to work fine...

Stubhub doesn't "sell" tickets, they are just a message board like Ebay that matches a buyer with a seller, so you have no idea about the reliability of the seller. Stubhub will give you your money back if the seller doesn't send you the tickets you bought, after jumping through several hoops and proofing you are in the right.

I have bought from them and sold a few tickets also the last several years... they guarantee all their tickets and if problem, they will replace with tickets as similar as possible. I never had a problem. Plus, they email the FedEx prepaid to Seller and seller has to follow exact directions for sending tickets or seller will not receive payment and only after buyer receives by FeEx...there is also waiting period by StubHub before paying the Seller which they guarantee buyer satisfaction. Every seat I had was yes, expensive, but very much worth it to be up front!

Stub Hub is reliable. If you are willing to pay the extra cash, it's a good service. Prf1 is right that it's not really a service in the usual sense, however, they have a "ticket guarantee" and they usually check the tickets they sell (the codes) to make sure they are legit.

If it makes you feel any better, they are owned by Ebay. So it's not just some small company.

I have never had any problems with them.

I have never had ant problems with them.

What do ants have to do with it??

It's called....a "typo"...

:D

Yea they are 100% reliable. If you buy the tickets, you get em, although they are hella expensive. I've sold tix and bought some from there. More reliable than Ebay.

No more reliable, neither Ebay nor StubHub ever handles the tickets, both are simply bulletin boards that match buyers with sellers, you can get ripped off on both, and you have various levels of recourse on both.

I would say they are both equal. Altho I think Stub Hub IS a tiny bit more reliable, in the sense that they only focus on tickets.

So A) you are going to have more selections and B) they will pay more attention
