Violet Hill live (Chris's rythym guitar)

I guess he plays in standard tuning. He uses his thumb on the E-string throughout the song, but in the outro he also plays some regular bar chords (marked with a star (*)). I'm not 100% sure about the outro, since the camera isn't filming his guitar all the time. There are some rapid chord changes there - maybe someone can correct me?

     C#m
Was a long and dark December
From the rooftops i remember

         A
There was snow

     F#
White snow

Clearly I remember
From the windows they were watching
While we froze
down below

        A
When the future's architectured

    B C#m
By a carnival of idiots on show

                B
You'd better lie low

      A G#
If you love me

E C#m B C#m
Won't you let me know?

Was a long and dark December
When the banks became cathedrals
And the fog
Became God

Priests clutched onto bibles
Hollowed out to fit their rifles
And the cross
Was held aloft

Bury me in armor
When I'm dead and hit the ground
My love's opposed
But unfolds

If you love me
Won't you let me know?

*Guitar Solo* [verse chords]

I don't want to be a soldier
That a captain of some sinking ship
Would stow, far below

So if you love me
Why'd you let me go?

A C#m F# E* C#m B* A
I took my love down to Vio-let Hill

   B* C#m B* A
And there we sat in snow

   B* F# E C#m B
And all that time she was sil-ent still

  G# A* G#
So if you love me

E C#m B A
Won't you let me know?

      A G#
If you love me,

E C#m B C#m
Won't you let me know?

looks pretty good I agree those rapid changes at the end were hard to catch but you did a good job I think. The entire song is bar chords ( except Chris uses the thumb technique for that)
