I've completed the game now!

 

Act 4 is BY FAR the best for those who are long term fans of the game.

 

 

I loved going back to shadow moses, all the flashbacks were truely amazing!

 

 

anybody else been playing? or going to get this?

 

I would DEFINTELY recommend this if you played and enjoyed the first two games.

 

the third one was a bit lacking in my own opinion, but it proves VITAL to the storyline, so you kinda have to forgive Kojima for that.

So, is this really the last game in the series? Or the last one Kojima makes. I'm betting there will be another sequel, this series is just too popular (and too good) to stop!

I didn't bother getting this as I don't know the storyline from the other games (and it's meant to be pretty much incomprehensible at times even if you do!)

Just finished the last of the "boss squad" (That's not what they're called but I don't wanna ruin anything for Stefan :))

 

This is DEFINITELY the last game in the series.

 

Stefan, you'll find out why pretty early into the game.

and you're gonna love this game.

 

the story uses everything that we've learned from all the previous games.

 

the story is the best one I've ever came across in any game.

i've never encounted one like it.

as always with the metal gear series, the end sequences do NOT disappoint.

I'm going to play now, I'm still at Act 2 (but at the end I think).

 

The story is (again!) brilliant. I love how bizarre, weird, intriguing, mystic, exciting, ... it is!

 

The humor is great too, a little weird sometimes though :D

 

I seriously hope to see more Metal Gear after this (and no Ac!d kind spin-offs)!

if you haven't, then you're not near the end of the act at all :P

the acts are HUGE.

 

the thing I love with this game is the different locations you go to, not like the other games whereyou're in the same place for the whole mission.

I just started Act 3! With the sneaking through the city! The different locations are awesome and it all looks great (especially on an HD tv). Laughing Octopus wasn't hard to defeat (it reminded me of a boss fight in Resident Evil 4) She was kinda scary! :P

 

The bosses in MGS 3 were awesome! The ones in MGS 2 were nice too. Great to see Vamp back by the way, always loved that character :cool:

 

Have you played all the MGS games? I really should check MGS 1 sometime, but it's really hard to find...

Just beat that Rage guy. Taking a break now - those 30 min. cutscenes are exhausting :P

Finished! Brilliant game (actually it was more an interactive movie). It wasn't a sneaking game, a whole lot of actions and a whole lot of cutscenes and some sneaking in between :P

 

The easiest MGS, in my opinion. And I never played the first one, so the whole going back to Shadow Moses didn't make me relive memories or something :p Loved the part where you were playing a bit of the first MGS though :cool:

 

Brilliant game! 10/10
