Hi everyone, my name is Joel and i'm from Melbourne, Australia. I'm currently a University student, aged 23 and of course (most importantly), i'm a Coldplay fan! I've been a fan of Coldplay since the "A Rush of Blood to the Head" era. The song Clocks was the spark which ignited my passion for Coldplay. Until the release of Viva La Vida, A Rush of Blood to the Head has been my favourite Coldplay album. Already, Viva La Vida has exceeded my expectations and stands out as a remarkable masterpiece. The album is infallible in my opinion and is a welcome departure from the less inspiring X&Y.

Thanks, Sandy! :) What's the consensus on the new album around here? I hope everyone loves it as much as I do! They really deserve the recognition for this album, more than they did for X&Y, I hope it spreads like a wildfire.

There're people who still want the "old Coldplay" if you know what I mean . . .

But I think everybody here LOVES the new album ! Even if there're always exceptions . . . :rolleyes:
