as much as I love Coldplay.. I can't stand the Coldplay section ....my mind kinda memorizes all the things people post and those thoughts fly around my head forEVER

^Yeah, I went through the same thing when I was around here for X&Y. It ruins your enjoyment of the album if you aren't careful.

 

I just pick which threads and posts I read and respond to carefully. Because as much as I'd like to yell back at some people, it really honestly isn't worth the energy, and will make no difference in the long run.

I know how y'all feel... I've been coming to the Lounge way more since a couple weeks ago. Hopefully given another month things will calm down again over there.

The Lounge and WoM are where its at.

Yup i would agree with that..........immunity buils up with time.

lol. I made a thread like this the day VH came out because a lot of people were being uncharacteristically hostile or arrogant. Not to mention the 115 or so 'Violet Hill's Awesome' or 'Violet Hill Sucks' threads. Crazy day!:lol:

I just don't go in there before any releases. Most fanboys and fangirls have their moments of fan spamming and eventually pass out from the amount of clicking they do. Eventually alot of them will run out of downloads and so I'd advise on going in boots and all at the end of the month, even though it'll still be full but just a little calmer as people begin to realise they'll have a nice bill at the end of the month.

 

And yes, I guess you do build an immunity against non-coldplayers, but they'll fall sooner or later. Everyone likes Coldplay. Unless, of course, they are like me when it comes to Radiohead, and become extremely narrow minded and have a passionate hate against them. There's no use in agruing. You'll still be at point A.
