you wont know when you wont know how...but there will be cds..oh yes..there will be cds

ok. ;)

that goes for you too. ;)

*what's funny is that we've probley got alot of the same cds, and we'll already have all the songs.*

KEWL

haha yeah i thought of that too, thats why i was just, whenever i get round to doing one, check on here with you & list some groups and eliminate bands/cds that way, and thus get a list of ones you don't know ie Death Cab For Cutie

what a geeky process, i love it :D

geeky processes are always cool.

Hey I gotta band for you to check out, if you haven't already.

They're called "Eva", they're from Glasgow.

You don't have to do it now, but go to their website http://www.evatheband.com, and download some of their stuff. Its really good!!! :D

*writes down* cool  yeah, ive seen someone mention them in another thread too, yeah i'll look into that. ;)

there's this band my friend Jamie plays in called Mia, who i think are close to breaking through here (possibly that is, you neve know) they're indie in sound..a mixture of sampling/keyboards/guitars...they sound like ooh i don't know, something between radiohead, feeder, these are bad comparisons..their sound is hard to pin down...with a little electronica thrown in...anyways i keep asking Jamie for a copy of their cd (theyre on a small Nottingham based label) well, if i get that i'll make ya a copy, i think you'd like it..plus i'll keep ya ahead of the game on the UK scene  ;)

excellent! I'll have to get in touch with him..he lives up there still, we graduated together, he did graphic design as well....the dudes a hard man to track down though! Never replies soon enough for my liking on email  :D and phone? forget about it  he never seems to be around..hmmph like all my friends really..i wonder if they're trying to tell me something :stunned:

:D

awwww... don't think like that. My friends do the same shit. It will seem like they're avoiding me, so I let them alone, and then they'll call me and INSIST

I hang out with them.

ha, yeah its a no win situation :D ...but my situation is that i'm so far away from them all, we're scattered all over, that meet ups are hard..theirs never the right time...i'm going to see Jamie at the V fest, he said he was going, but an actual meet up with J, well you'd have more luck having a beer with the pope! hahhaa..this dude is ELUSIVE!...a busy boy...plus when i go i'll be staying at another friends house down there so thats cool...its just that since the end of college everyones pursuing their own thing...and i'm pursuing sleep deprivation! hahha  ...but i'm having more fun

ha ha!! "having a beer w/ the pope."

yeah... unfortunetly for my friends and I, it wasn't college after college we lost contact, it was High School.

Seriously, I have not made any new friends in my 3 yrs in college. I hang out w/ new people, but I went to grade school and high school w/ them. I just wasn't friends w/ them back then. :/

And secluding myself... yeah... I've done that. My friends get pissed. Like, "Where the hell have you been, and why haven't you've come out to hang with us in awhile." BAAAHHH

But, you know... its given me more time to think about what I want in life and who I am. I've found, that without all the friends I used to have, and w/o constintley going out, I'm a lot happier w/ who I am.

hey all my seksi luvas geeks...we need to have a party for our 25th page WHOOT WHOOT *runs around in birthday suit* :wink3:

DEFINITELY - to that last part..we need that time to figure ourselves out, because believe me, if i dont take the time, i'm no fun to be around anyways! There's times where i need that seclusion, always have, might always will...some call it "negative attention seeking" but i dont buy that psychobabble, i think i could come up with a more original way to seek attention if thats what i really wanted!..i tend to be a lot happier in my own comfort zone of my books, my cds , my comp, etc...i go out some nights, and even though i'd be with friends i get anxious, a little unsettled, sometimes not always, depends who we're around & where..its hard for me to relax, so i turn to booze & then end up leaving without saying goodbye to anyone because i get all depressed...BAHHH sorry...so thats my nights out for ya, thats why i prefer this ;)

I don't believe in the psychobabble bullshit either. If I need to fix a problem w/ myself, I'll do it myself. I don't need some prick telling ME whats wrong with myself, and how to "FIX" it.

Anyways....
