I haven't heard their stff, YET, but in my Bright Eyes "Fevers and Mirrors", theres a card advertising other bands on the label and The Faint was one of them. I knew I'd seen that name before. :D Now I just have to check them out.
July 30, 200322 yr YES! the faint are AWESOME, i love them...well let me know what you get of theirs and i'll send you more if you like them..i've got practically everything they've done, remixes, live stuff....i've seen them twice live and they are amazing live...definitely music to get jiggy to! :D I once read about them that some reviewer wote "imagine the soundtrack to the best retrofuturistic sci-fi cyber thriller? Well that's The Faint" couldna put it better myself :)

July 30, 200322 yr :cool: wellll..job hunting not so good right now...i put an Application in to work at the base, but now they want to see my passport & SS Card, "procedures" :rolleyes: ...so i'm doing that tomorrow...and we'll see, should get something, they're always looking for people there ie cashiers, store jobs etc...the graphic D hunting is on hold till i finish that cd i was telling you about. I'm gonna send like dozens out to companies..& friends & fam just to show them what i'm up to..*adds emma to list* ;)

LOL :blush: yeah, the type of GD design i'm into btw is moving image/CGI stuff (computer generated imagery in case you didnt know) ...ie title sequences, promos for tv etc...ideally i want to work in the music industry in some capacity..(big suprise there ey? hahaha) like making vids/band promo's , cd artwork, so forth... if i cant do this type of stuff, then i'll go be a hermit writer or something! :cool: :D salgood you dont have much to say..i know those times believe me hahaha i'm struggling to think of questions as well..lol...uhhhhhhhh...so what else, besides what i know about you already do you like to do in your spare time? That's why I thought of doing it in the 1st place. :lol: Oh... what do I like to do in my spare time, that you don't know already? hmmmm... I love to look at art and study it. That was another thought as to what I wanted to major in. Art History. So, the list of what I wanted to study was... French, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Art History, and recently I thought about English Lit. But, as you know, I stuck w/ the French :lol: yeah... I have alot of interest. I always feel bad for the people who don't know what they want to study. :lol: I've got too many things I want to do. :lol: In some dream world, where I wouldn't hate school so much... I'd learn all those things and get a degree in all of them. :lol:
July 30, 200322 yr true true indeed about the wanting to learn all the things we're interested in! I love looking and studying art too..i nearly did fine art in college..chose GD at the last minute..I've flirted with the idea of English Lit, Creative Writing, Film school (couldnt afford it)...lol..this degree i finished was my 3rd!!, the only 1 i completed though! Before i started an Associate of Arts taking random classes & it was getting me nowhere :lol: Then i started up Paralegal/Legal aid studies???! OK, yeah..i was lost.. :lol: that is soo not me that stuff! I was clueless for a long time...thats why i ended up going to college later...it took me several years (and some ugly shit that only goes in a PM or AIM) to finally get my ass in gear! I'm still amazed i'm a grad...ohh..there's a quote i want to show you, which aptly fits me as a person...i'll get a link...
