Brian Eno? Yeah he does have an ego but.. let's give credit when credits due here. he helped make some great music.

But he also helps the enemies, like U2.

Plus he takes a little too much credit, he may have helped them change their music, but at the end of the day it's still Chris Martin writing the lyrics, Johnny Buckland playing the Guitar solo, Will Champion holding the beat and Guy Berryman playing the bass, and until Eno gets out there and plays with them he needs to take less credit.

It's like Al Gore claiming to have invented the internet, most people know it's not true but there are those idiots how there who believe him. It's that little bit of recognition for something great you didn't really do, but it feels good to be recognized for it.

wow, i think i disagree with you on EVERYTHING. first of all i wouldnt call Eno an enemy of ocldplay when the band itself consider him to be a mentor and a great help in their last album. So if Coldplay loves Eno, how can he be Coldplay's enemy.

Second, Al Gore never claimed to invent the internet. His exact quote is "During my service in the United States Congress I took the initiative in creating the internet. I took the initiative in moving forward a whole range of initiatives that have proven to be important to our country's economic growth and environmental protection, improvements in our educational system." Which is completely true. He was in the forefront of the legislative side of the development of the internet. And it is safe to say that without him the internet would be much different and/or it may have taken many more years for its creation.

Also, Chris likes rap. And Will obviously enjoys some hip hop from the beats in this last album, particularly Lost!. So I would take Rap off the list.

Why lil wayne? cant say that im a fan but coldplay does have #1s in both singles and albums in both UK and US. so its not like lil wayne is preventing anyhting.

I would add Alan Mcgee to the list.

FIne, I stand corrected. I was sort of kidding about Al Gore, but I still feel Eno is taking a bit too much credit.

Brian Eno is not a enemy to Coldplay at all he's a friend of theirs.

he just want to say that if he hadn't produced the album they have again the same old sound.

they cannot try a different look.

i'll give a list of enemies anyway:

NYTimes

Crazy frog

Andy Gill of independent.co.uk:veryangry2:

Sex pistols Jonny Rotten slammed humourless coldplay.

Carl Barat dirty pretty things accused coldplay for giving free things.

Danny Filth craddle of filth he challenged Chris to boxing match:veryangry2:
