Are You Half Empty or Half Full?

Featured Replies

The cup is twice as large as it needs to be.

For me, it depends on the day. Therefore, I did not answer the poll. I did want to relay a few lyrics from my absolute favorite song ever.

"You seek up an emotion and your cup is overflowing

You seek up an emotion sometimes your well is dry."

I know that on the days that I feel the cup is half empty, there will always be a day that the cup is half full. Those are the days that are worth it. :D

actually it depends.,...if I want to tell my mum that there is not enough coffee in my cup and she doesn't want to believe it then I'd say "But look, it's half empty!"....and if it would be the other way round then I'd say the opposite...:P

Yeah, everything is relative to the current situation.

Absolutely! While I would love to be an eternal optimist, tis not possible. Instead, I will be a cautious pessimist. I think from time to time it is necessary to know how empty the cup is to realize how wonderful it is when the cup is full.

I think it's half full because we are pouring water into it therefore we are measuring how much of the maximum is in the cup but if we were drinking the water or whatever and came to half way it would be half empty because we're measuring how much til the end. you know anyone catch me here?

I read that fast as I naturally read all posts fast and thought "WHAT THE HELL"

Re-read it, doesn't quite work.

I'm always half full, then I give myself a treat and I'm half empty :wink3:

but seriously, probably half empty.
