Does anybody else think 42 sounds kind of the B-Side of The Beatles' "Abbey Road", with the transitions and evrything?

Yes it's classic Beatles in my book. And yet not derivative. Not copied. Not a pale imitation. I'll put all my eggs in one basket and say that, in my opinion, it's as good as the Fab Four ever got with such a brief song.

I also thought the song was Beatle-esque when I heard it. I agree it may be their best song to date :cool4:
