We want to play it as part of the show, so we'd like to give it away with the ticket. That way the only people that know that song will be the people coming to the concerts.”

 

that doesnt mean that its The Gold Rush is Death Will Never Conquer. "That way the only people that know that song will be the people coming to the concerts" they have Death Will Never Conquer over the internet so every 1 knows..not the people who are going to the shows....and plus Will can also sing other songs as well..and these lyrics were in the tour program as The Gold Rush so thats comfirming that The Gold Rush is not Death Will Never Conquer

I can't wait til they start playing The Goldrush soon! :D I've reverted the info on wikicoldplay and re-established Goldrush and DWNC as seperate songs.

 

Are the lyrics in the programme the same as in the Japanese album booklet? You know, for songs like Reign of Love - the lyrics still aren't fully clear to me!

They were planning to do that, but Will's been singing "Death Will Never Conquer" at the concerts instead; as far as I know they haven't played or released any recording of The Goldrush yet. But they did release the lyrics, so maybe they will soon! ;)

 

I can't really scan the program properly since the thing is so huge, but here's a couple of pages (most of them, anyway):
