i've always thought it very clear that as someone whose music is very personal, and someone who is shy of revealing such personal details, his defenses have always been quite comic and entertaining. its better than being a moody jerk like some singers might be. i dont have any doubt he's writing about personal stuff. i mean as he's obviously close to the guys in the bands maybe a song or two could in some way have to do with them, but i've yet to hear anything like that.

It also made me cry. :cry: I have always felt very close to the lyrics of "What If" and thought they were very deep and emotional.
