well the laptop's thingy would work(can't think of the name--guess I'm not fully awake!) but it picks up the connection from the modem, which IS plugged in to wall&electricity...but don't worry EVERYTHING IS OK.phewww. I think they finally fixed it, so hopefully no more random blackouts.(I know everyone was worried for me!:P)

I just went through a mini-panic attack:P. You know that thread "You know you're addicted to Coldplay." Well they need a "You know you're addicted to Coldplaying when...." So the story is that the lights keep randomly going out lately, first every few days, now at least once a day...so the landlord finally called PSE&G(public works) and they came like 10min after I woke up. Then you can hear them working on something, and the lights go out:stunned:. THANK GOD my coffee was ready right before then!!!LOL But then I realized "oh NO i CAN'T GET MY PC ON, no coldplaying with my coffee today:bigcry:." Then I realize--wait my roomie has a laptop! no need for electricity!:idea2: So I sneak into her room, turn on laptop, and DUH....can't connect to internet w/out the modem being plugged in!:dunce:

So, yeah, I'm addicted to coffee, coldplaying, and electricity. I can't wake up w/out any of those!:lol:[/silly story].

Though someone sneezed soo loudly at the lab last night, I did think to myself if that guy got infected, forget it, our dept would shut down in a day:rolleyes:. His sneezes are like small earthquakes. (wait, that was a bad joke, wasn't there a small earthquake in Mexico?:\oops).

Well that happens Noelia.... i am concerned but i'm not panicking, authorities have told over tv that the face masks are not really necesary in our town as there are no cases here yet, but i don't know if i'd feel so "relaxed" if there was :\
