Frosh Week '08

Featured Replies

For those of us who are entering our first year at uni!

My Frosh has been this week and it's been pretty crazy so far.

Laser Tag, messy games, water wars, nighttime capture the flag and parties every night. I am so exaughsted. I came home for the first time in almost a week, I've been staying at my uni's commuter room sleeping on the floor. I miss my bed.

Who else is doing, or will be doing Frosh?

Frosh is kinda fun...though once you're in your second year and over, you wanna kill all the first year frosh people....Like I've been wanting to do for the last couple of years.Sorry....:) But it's part of the uni experience so have fun and get completely wasted before you'l have to many papers to write

Where in the UK, the freshers week is all about how much booze you can drink before getting sick

Two weeks to go. I'm kinda looking forward to it. I'm not to bothered about the actual freshers week. I'm getting into second year and as Dave said it's just about getting drunk, which you could do all year anyway. It will be good to see everyone again and go back to uni.

And not join in drinking the bar dry?

Remember kiddies, if you have to call an ambulance because you drunk too much and need your stomach pumped, you might be wasting the ambulance's time when they are needed for something proper

Could you live knowing that your drunken actions killed someone?

I guess I will go out a few times but it's not the main thing I'm looking forward to. I'm just sick of being in a dead end job and I cannot wait to go back for uni.

As for drinking, as long as you're being sensible you won't do no harm to anybody.

At my frosh week we had a dry week, no one could drink anything. Even if they were of age. Apprently they brought breathalizers and there would be consequences if someone was caught...I know some people who did drink though and didn't have a problem
