The band have used another Eugene Delacroix painting for the cover

Coldplay have revealed the artwork for the cover of their forthcoming EP, 'Prospekts March'.

The release will feature previously unreleased material recorded during the band's sessions for recent album 'Viva La Vida Or Death And All his Friends' and will be released on November 24 in the UK.

The band revealed on Coldplay.com that the front cover of the EP will feature Eugene Delacroix's painting 'Battle Of Poitiers'

Coldplay used the 1830 painting 'Liberty Leading The People', also by Delacroix, for the artwork for their 'Viva La Vida…' album.

Sorry if this has been posted, I saw this on another site and thought it I'd share. :)

Why haven't more people posted on this? It took a facebook update for me to realize it, and I was just on this forum! shouldn't the world's largest coldplay fansite get there first?

BTW awesome artwork. from the coldplay.com icon, I thought it was jesus at first...

At first glance, I thought it has something to do with the movie 300. lol

Using this artwork looks like a good idea and the concept is nice. :)

Prospekt's March Full Lyrics

These are the lyrics i deciphered, I don't know if they're totally correct but I did my best!!! Enjoy the new Prospekt's March!!!

VIVA LA VIDA, VIVA PROSPEKt'S, VIVA COLDPLAY!!!

Prospekt's March

Smoke is rising from the houses

People bury in the day

I ask somebody what the time is

But time doesn't matter to them yet

People talking without speaking

Trying to take what they can't get

I ask you if you remember

Prospekt, how could I forget

Drums, here it comes

Don't you wish your life could be as simple

As fishes swimming 'round in a barrel when you've got the gun

Oh and I run

Here it comes

We're just two little figures in a soup bowl

Trying to get behind a kind of control

But I wasn't one

And here I lie, on my own in a separate sky

And here I lie, on my own in a separate sky

I don't wanna die on my own here tonight

And here I lie, on my own in a separate sky

BEAUTIFULL SONG...
