October 28, 200817 yr I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised by the result ! Both mix very well and every artist is respected ! It is rather additional ! The arrangements are very professional, it is an interesting experience ! Great Job !
October 28, 200817 yr and now I know. I dont like it :laugh3: probably dont like Jay-z's voice and that's it. His lyrics are interesting, and there are some bits(in a spy's prayer for example) that are ok, but overall NO. And there are too many times when it is not Chris's own voice.

October 28, 200817 yr It's no Grey Album, but it's good. I've been waiting for a Coldplay Jay-Z mashup for a while. Ever since I heard the Grey Album. Now I'm set. I'm still going through my first listen, but off the top of my head I'm going to say that Take the Hill, Science is Ignorant, and A Spy's Prayer are my favs so far.
October 28, 200817 yr i think its better than the grey album and the beatles are my favourite band not even close. at the very least, viva la hova sounds cleaner. grey album is fantastic but the quality is sub-par, maybe i just have a bad copy. but this viva la hova is incredible. of course im a bit biased as it combines two of my favourite musical acts ever and ive spent countless hours listening to both jay's lyrics and coldplay's music. its quite interesting to hear them together.

October 28, 200817 yr the BEST is "What If We Cry" in my opinion (for the moment).. 4, 5, 9, 11, 12(!!) and 17 (the good old beach chair) these are quite good as well i think. What do you think of it? :)

X-Y-Z Honorable Mentions: Hola Blanco Take the Hill Some of the songs don't flow so well from one to another, but overall it's pretty damn good considering they worked with pre-existing tracks. (It's probably worth noting, though, that the professional collaboration Beach Chair is the best thing on here.) Anyway, VLH will make a good driving album if nothing else.
