Is it true? Who is writing guitar parts ? rhytmic guitars are so wonderful.

 

Some of Pop songs are really nice too (like "wonderwall" from Oasis), but Coldplay is the best. We always need to change the tuning, (I don't like to do that), but It sounds so beautiful with coldplay songs ! (Sparks, Warning sign, Yellow...)

I'm pretty sure Chris writes most of the lyrics, but probably has input from all the other members. He's said in quotes before that Will kind of supervises everything and will demand changes if he doesn't like something.

 

So most of the time it's Chris writing the lyrics, and they all come up with the instrumentals together, yet they all have equal input into any changes.

If you saw storytellers back in 05 Chris wrote this song as a last minute add to X&Y to give it "a fuller, more even sound. It was missing that one song"

 

And he wrote it at night...apparently naked. Although no one has confirmed that :P

 

I think they are a unit when writing. Jon may come up with a guitar part that Guy thinks would be better his way and what not.

I did, it sent saying it was a .doc file not.docx, but it still didn't work...
