For starters, the "wooaah" before the second verse is a great touch, as are the backing vocals. But whaqt I really like is how you can higher pitched tremolo picking during the bridge a lot better. That's what annoyed me with the first version, the solo is so great live, but almost inaudible on the album..and while it's not a huge difference, I'm glad this is the one getting radio-play.
