December 11, 200817 yr I think automated votes are like spam - that's why they have that individual code that you have to type in, so that it has to be done by a person, not by computer. That doesn't make sense, does it? I know what I mean, I just can't explain it. It makes perfect sense, Alison! Does that mean that Ian & my votes will be discounted :cry: He uses his laptop & I have the PC but we're both connected to the same broadband so preusmably will have the same IP address :confused: I have no idea - I don't understand all that stuff. :dozey: I just had a nice surprise when I saw the current result! :) I'm getting some strange looks from my family after cheering when I saw the page. December 11, 200817 yr Author Same for Coldplaying, this from Anthony :) Hi all at the Coldplaying forum, As some of you have noticed already, the live results figures in the Coldplaying vs Muse Messageboard have changed somewhat in the last hour or so. This is because we have gone back through our voting system, and removed duplicate votes. We got the word out to everyone earlier today that we were seeing suspicious activity, but it continued after then, so to keep the competition fair (and to keep to the rules, which you can find on the Rock-Off pages) we are removing any votes that are clearly duplicates. Of course, any and all genuine votes are not effected and are still being counted. Rgds, Anthony.
