Welcome to my world.

I remember the first time I realised I hated my dad.

I had never felt a rage like it.

I asked him how he met my mum (this was just after my mum died, I never knew my dad til then, so I moved in with him so I didn't have to go into foster care, I guess they contacted him somehow, ANYWAYS)

he said 'I was in a bar one night and saw this big fat ugly bitch staring at me and thought "she'll do'

I was about 13 at the time, and so I got angry and tried to fight my mum's corner and he shouted at me for back-chatting him.

safe to say, I moved in with my grandparents and haven't spoken to him since.

and won't ever. ever.... ever.

Long story short, if you want to hate your dad, hate him.

You're a smart kid Si, and you can learn from his mistakes.

for instance, I've learned how NOT to parent.

I would never treat my own kids like that.

learn from it, become a better person.

though, you're already a sound lad.

I like you alot! you've got my facebook if you ever wanna rant and rave.

OMG!, He sounds like such a bastard!, UGH!, I feel sooo sorry for you and I really admire you for doing the right thing!, I Don't hate my dad but some of the things he does are absolutely terrible but then other times he is really nice and kind!, He's really wierd!, I do love him but sometimes I do want to kill him!, Thanks alot for aggreeing with me and being nice, i really appreciate it :D, And yeah I might hold you to that rant and rave

Haha!, I feel sorry for you :(, Ugh, it sucks, doesn't it?

Really, you do not have to appologize to me. You know your father better than anyone of us do on this forum. But no need to be saying sorry to me:)

Sorry (Look there I go again :P), I have a problem, I say sorry for EVERY little thing, everyone tells me that! :P

Especially since he was being a pedantic little cunt, you got his age wrong by one year

Especially since he was being a pedantic little cunt

how ironic.

I would disagree with you.

BUT

I just scouted out his profile

and I noticed that him and his friends are planning to start a "we hate nathan" group

if I was you, I'd be scared!

brilliant

also, you don't think him correcting his father's age by one year, as if that would change her argument is being pedantic?

woah! woah!, I wasn't making a big deal about how she got the age wrong, I was just saying :dozey:

Some people just can not get along well with each other, although they love each other. Living in different places will make things much better.

I did quarrelled a lot with my parents when I was a teenager and I hated them, not being able to understand why they treated me in this way. Then I went to high school and I lodged at students' dorm. I only went back home in weekends. My parents missed me and they treated much better. I missed them too and I found I could understand them much better then.

Now I will be graduated from university in next June and I've decided to stay in this city instead of going back to my hometown to find a job. I am afraid that if I go back, the good relationship during those years between me and my families will change or be damaged.

Interesting, yeah that would probbably be alright with me!, My brother is in the RAF and occasionally comes back home and my parents are always really nice to them, otherwise they are sometimes not sooo nice...
