I'm not too sure excatly how it works but I think venues need a music licence of some sort. because the stadiums are generally use for sports they may either need a licence per event or a licence for the year.

 

other places have to do the same. G4 opened the Borders bookshop at Cheetham Hill, and they needed a licence for them to do that if they were going to sing at all.

convinced my sister to join me for the manchester gig, and to pay for my ticket as a very very early brithday present, YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY :D

 

I saw jay-z at the m.e.n a few months back and he was fan-fucking-tastic, seeing coldplay there on the 11th, so to see them both at the same gig in sept is bloody awesome!

Am I the only one that thinks this is Stupid. Outdoor gigs should not happen after August. In mid Spetember it will be freezing and no doubt raining. Why do you think no major festival happens after August.

Don't like saying I told you so -but you can see from th elow demand for these tickets not many people interested in a outside gig in the middle of September - compare these to recent Oasis and Take That outdoor tours and you will see this stadium tour is not really a big hit with the fans.

SO that was the easiest it's ever been getting Coldplay tickets! I had no problems at all! had someone do it online while I was at work, but managed to sneak online at work and got through really easily! Luckily my friend called to say she'd got them before I bought more lol

Complete nonsense, what are you talking about?! Do you not think it might have something do with the tickets going on sale less than a month before christmas in a year that's been extremely difficult for most people financially? Also, correct me if i'm wrong but in brummyland do they not have football matches and other outdoor sporting events running through the winter, like they do up and down the rest of the country? Come on mate, it's not unreasonable at all to have a stadium tour in september.
