November 30, 200817 yr I know i'll be killed for this but guy's bass is pretty weak and doesn't really add much to the band in my opinion. I had this bassis friend and he always told me how dull is to play the bass when it comes to coldplay songs i didn't believe it till i played the bass part of clocks haha. Flea from the chili peppers or Colin from radiohead or Chris from muse on the other hand, well just wow! I agree with you, I know this will probably be an unpopular opinion on here but I personally find Coldplays guitarist very dull to listen to too. On the subject of amazing Bass players-Cliff Burton :( RIP

I'd say his best parts are in Violet Hill, Sparks, Daylight, Everything's not lost, Shiver, High Speed, Square One, High Speed and Things I Don't Understand.
