I do too miss older Coldplay. But I also love their new stuff. It's all bittersweet.

 

 

It's really similar to O.A.R. They used to be reggae-rock chill music, then their latest album is more rock. Many of their fans have deserted them. And yeah of course I miss their old style and sound, but their new stuff is so good I am glad they changed.

No no no, I love viva la vida or death and all his friends, my favourite second coldplay album; and of course I'd love another a rush of blood to the head but that would be boring; the 4 albums have a different taste, sound and mood. That's something all artists should do.

But look at the new videos, their live performances, commercial, damn hip hop influence :bigcry: Of course I still want to go to a coldplay concert, but in their pre X&Y era they were more sure of themselves, they relied more on their musicianship.

I want to see a viva la vida performance without all that media pressure.
