Wembley tickets problems with the webs

Featured Replies

I wonder if you coldplayers are having the same problem as me and many other spanish friends are.

I have recently purchased by credit card loads of tickets for the Wembley Arena Coldplay concert on September 19th and 18th 2009. As part of the booking process I also had to pay an extra £5 per ticket for ‘secure delivery’ (in fact the process would not let me go any further unless I paid for this).

The difficulty is that I, and my other friends going to the concert (most of them) live outside the UK, and we have already asked several times the booking agent from ‘http://www.ticketline.co.uk’ when we would receive these tickets. There have been different replies ranging from ‘the post office (in U.K.) does NOT offer secured delivery to overseas addresses’...in which case why did we HAVE to each pay £5 (pounds) for this? and ‘you will receive the tickets a week before the concert’ or ‘you can pick them up at a friend’s home in the UK or at your hotel’, also and in my case I have been answer as ‘at present your tickets are going be sent under a sign upon your delivery even if you live in Spain’.

The credit card payments for these have already been received by ‘ticketline’ incidentally. Because we still have to book our flights, accomodation etc we would like some clarification about WHEN we will receive these tickets.

Also we are wondering about if the TICKETS could be sent at least one month before the concert date, so that we would not have this ongoing uncertainty of ‘what if the tickets fail to arrive and we have paid all this money including flights/hotels for nothing’, and in this case the web will as always say they have no responsibility.

There are also people that after some weeks after have sent many emails, these emails haven’t been replied.

I would also like to remember that this web (ticketline.co.uk) and the other 2 ones were the only where to buy the tickets and recommended by the band stuff people.

Please can you help us? Are you having similar situations?

:)

I think you should ask someone from UK.... they might know something about this!!!

yes, i know a lot of people too with the same problem.... including me!!! and i booked mine through gigsandtours.com.. moreover, they saved my address incomplete... i sent tons of mails following their instructions in order to modify it, and they have not been replied.

i find it specially worrying the fact that they are sending the tickets really few days before the gig, and i'm afraid the flying to uk day would arrive and i wouldnt have recieved them yet!! :shocked2:

not only i have to worry if i will recieve them, but also about if i will in time.

Yep, the same happens to me. I've bought tickets from gigsandtours and from ticketline and one says what is explained above and the other even doesn't answer to my emails... :-|

Apart from that, I don't know where I will be by august, the date they are saying the tickets will be delivered. I mean, if I put a delivery adress was for receiving them within 3 months not 9!!

This really upsets me >.<

at least you all have booked/purchased them on the sites they gave.

i know that all those kind of sites do delivery the tickets just a week or two weeks before the event takes place.

although in your case they should do that earlier i think, as it will take longer to arrive at your places.

i think you all do well protesting for that, and you should do that all together, if not it won't be solved.

i hope it'll be solved soon.

but Lost! sounds bad that they don't reply your emails. :(

i know that other people that has used gigsandtours had similar problems for other events, if my memory is not bad.... :/

but that's weird truly... do they have a newsletter service on their site? may be they will answer on that other address...

although may be it won't work either.

it happened something similar with me on another concert in Madrid, they sell the tickets on the same place just a week before the concert, and reserve option was forbidden

i did registered on their newsletter to send them an e-mail but they didn't answered. :(

as i've said before, you all do well protesting all together about that with that so much time ahead, so it'll be solved soon. :)

Well, I'm from Spain too. I booked my tickets for the Wembley Arena Coldplay concert on September 19th from gigsandtours.com (seetickets.com) The payment is correct but now I'm unsure about how and when they will send my tickets because my adress was incomplete at the order tracker. I tried to ask them about correcting the error but they are not replying my emails.

I don't know what to do, I need to get my tickets as soon as possible to make plans, you know, flights, hotel... and I would like to be sure of getting my tickets! :\
