Viva La Vida Tour - Seated? [2009]

Featured Replies

I just purchased 2x General Admission Standing tickets for the March 2009 performance in Brisbane Aus. I was asking questions about whether I'd be able to see anything from the middle barrier, and was told that it would all be seated? :stunned:

I looked through a few galleries of Viva La Vida tour photographs, and saw some gigs were standing, and some were seated - which confused me a bit.

The tickets I bought specify being behind the middle barrier of the GA section, and there was a definite distinction between Standing & Seated tickets when I bought them, so I'm not quite sure what to expect. Anyone help me out?

Usually general admission means standing on the floor in front of stage [in the middle of the arena], and the seating areas rise up behind you and on each side of you. Some venues have a barrier in the middle of the floor standing section [to limit any crush from people at the back pressing forward], i.e. they make a front floor section and back floor section. When GA tkts go on sale they sell/fill the front floor first, then the back floor. At Berlin they had a huge video screen behind the stage and during the second half of the gig they showed live shots from 4 TV cameras/camera men who were suspended from the ceiling up near the lights. I expect they'll do it again, so wherever you are you'll see stuff on the big screen hopefully. ..or, you could jump the barrier when noone's looking.. oops no, of course not, only joking... checkout my vid of 'politik' or 'lovers in japan' for example on page two of my playlist>>
