There was a day when I was getting really down. A lot of crap was going on with school/family/etc. I was getting quite near depression. I then came on here and saw the Lovers In Japan video was available on iTunes. I was like "cool"

 

So I went there and saw it was a free download. I then watched it, the most amazing 3 and half minutes of music video I may ever have seen. When it was over, my whole mood was changed. I was suddenly happy, optimistic, and just joyful. It reminded me why I listen to Coldplay in the first place.

 

Now whenever I feel down I just listen to the song or watch the video and it brings me back. Does it have this wonderful effect on anyone else?

I LOVE the acoustic version, but then I think I loved it more then the original, and I feel guilty! :lol: I can't say which one I love better, i love them both equally I think..

In my opinion, most of their songs have the power to change your mood to good...

To me, their music is like The Beatles music. When you hear it you feel good no matter. The older the song gets the better it becomes.

i can never decide if i like the acoustic version or the osaka sun version better...they're two completely different songs to me, really, that just happen to have the same lyrics. both make me melt.

In my opinion, no Coldplay song "cures" depression more than Everything's Not Lost. That ending is just so damn uplifting! And the Live 2003 version when the crowd sings along... That song has gotten me out of a lot of bad spots :)

all of their songs are amazing and help us a lot...yesterday was a good day to be a coldplay fan it help me cheer up bit...
