sorry to bother you guys but I want to keep my messages but I don't know how could I have a back up of them. I have some messages that are over a year old (you know the first msm from my current girlfriend...) and I'm afraid my cell is dying and if I remove the chip I don't know if they will still be there and I if I change of cell what so, you know a way or should I just write them all down??

does your cell has a software and a wire?

if so, surely it has an option to transfer all your cell content to your computer. :)

The only way I can think off is forwarding the texts to an internet based SMS service for you to download.

It's a service which allows you to send your SMS as e-mails to appear in your inbox by sending them to a special number.

 

However I have only ever used it sending email to appear as SMSs on someone's phone, so i'm not sure if it can be worked the other way around.
