Does it make you mad when people say that they are Coldplay fans when they only recently listened to their new music?

There are people who have only become a fan since hearing Viva, and there are Coldplay fans like freaking out!!

Some people have heard Viva and checked out some of their other stuff and liked it too. Just because they RECENTLY became addicted doesn't mean they're not a fan.

 

Coldplay is like crack. Cause once you have one taste you can't stop.

Yes and no. My friends love VLVODAAHF, so I gave them older tracks to listen to and they really got into it. So in a way, it's a good thing.

 

I just don't like it when people are all "ZOMG!!! I LOVE COLDPLAY!!!" and jump on the bandwagon.

well i mean that it annoys me when they say they're fans but only like viva or something. if they like a lot of it, even if they just got into it recently, then it's fine.

What does make me mad is when people say they hate Coldplay without having even heard them. For some reason their seems to be a bad connotation with Coldplay, at least from the people I've talked to and that is really annoying.. at least listen to them before you say you hate them!

yeah, it annoys me a little, but i can appreciate when other people can appreciate any of their music, even if it is VLVODAAHF. if that's all they listen to though, they should never say they're a fan. that's almost disrespectful i think.

i love coldplay...and it makes me mad when my best friends make fun of me for liking them and it gets old when this happens everyday...i got so pissed today hahaha

& i always overhear people that im not particularly friends with in my classes talking about coldplay and making fun of them and using that lame joke over and over and over again.. "you know how i know you're gay? because you like coldplay!" at completely random times when nobody's even saying they like them...? :thinking: people are so weird sometimes. that's why i come here. you guys all understand :D :hug:

damn. he is an asshole. i dont think any of my teachers would make fun of me if i said i loved coldplay...even if they didnt necessarily like them.

one day in history earlier this year i was reading breaking dawn and i was using my coldplay ticket as bookmark and my teacher picked up the bookmark and says "you like coldplay? why?" and i was just like "YES! shut up! go away!" and made the 'go away' motion with my hand.

hah hah, i was so engrossed in my book otherwise i would full on argued with him!:lol:

yeah this one does make fun of all of his students he even made some of them cry...he is always sarcastic and really bluntly mean....but he gets away with it because he is supposedly the best IB teacher...

hah hah yeah!! he didn't care. he's actually a cool teacher. but i think he could tell i was engrossed in my book so he stopped bothering me. lol. its really funny now that i look back on it.

i know seriously whatever i will kill him or something..haha he has this long hair that he hasn't cut in like 4 years and i always joke that i am going to just cut it one day with scissors..
