November 18, 200916 yr it was soooo amazing! i want to go back! i love DC :wacky: yah, we were there wednesday thursday friday saturday sunday monday :smiley: yah, the weather was a bit icky the first few days, but the last two were gawjuss. :awesome: anywho, i loved it! i want to go back! :bigcry: :cheesy: yes, DC is the best! :D wow, you were here for a while! yeah, Monday was beautiful, Sunday too, but Thursday and Friday were so miserable :sick: was Wednesday bad too? I can't even remember :P sooooooo, I wanna hear all about it! what did you do, where did you go, etc :D I wonder if you ever drove past my school or anything... or maybe you drove by ME! :awesome: yah, the Wednesday whether was kind of bleh :\ im in the process of trying to put up pictures on facebook.... but yah it was a freaking awesome trip. im not sure of the likliness that we drove by you or your school. we took the metro most of the time and walked a hell of a lot. maybe we drove by when we were in the bus going to/from DC, or maybe when some of us took cabs to the Kennedy Center. we did most of the usual touristy things: Smithsonian, monuments, took pics outside the White House (we almost got to have a tour of the White House but it fell through :bigcry:), got a tour of the Pentagon :dance:, saw Shear Madness (fucking hilarious), ate at Ben's Chili Bowl :awesome:, had all the journalism related convention stuff (the reason we were there in the first place), went to the Newseum, toured the Capital, did the House and Senate chambers, Library of Congress, National Archives...im probably forgetting some things. heylo Jiggsies

Big-asss hotel (you see what i did there? :rolleyes:) and no anyone who went to the zoo went on monday (our last day) i dont remember ever seeing the blue busses :shame: oh dude the new Newseum is really cool. went to the Natural History museum i *think* it's the one with the Hope Diamond. but i definitely have been to air and space. in fact, i went to all of them when i went to DC years ago, so i didnt feel too bad about missing some of the things. Ben's Chili Bowl was delicious and had a line around the corner. but it moved pretty fast luckily. i bet a bunch of people were trying to see if Bill, Michelle, Sasha and Malia were there :awesome: poor Barack, has to pay for his food :rolleyes:

I know exactly where that is, it's about 5-10 minutes away from my school, we drive by it every week on the way to the Zoo! :lol: It's right near my house, too :P it's also across the street from where my school bus drops off after school, so I can guarantee that even though you didn't see me, you saw at least 50 people from my school :P
