oh, thanks for answering. but see, my lame paintbrush just lets me save my pics as bitmaps. no jpegs or gifs. its so weird. :/ and i know thats just wrong, cos my old paintbrush was able to edit jpegs and stuff, and this is like... only bmp compatible. maybe it's some bug from the windows me version, i dunno.

Oh well, thanks for answering anyways. What's your name again? i've seen ya on the forums a few times before but never actually talked to you. I'm Thom, btw. :D

press Ctrl + PrintScrn (upper right corner by the scroll lock)

I don't even think you need to press Ctrl...I know I don't on my comp.

It puts it on your clip board, so if you open up like microsoft paint or photoshop and do edit->paste it will appear, then you can save it as a .jpg file

umm, you could lower the quality so that you can directly upload it or you can find yourself some free web space like I did. See my pic, no border. I suggest http://www.brinkster.com

yehaa! :)

Yeah the coldplaying forums only let you put an image that's less than 25KB on here, and if you're posting a desktop, it's more than likely gonna be bigger than that. What I suggest is uploading the JPG to another location, like if you have a personal website, upload the JPG there and then use HTML code in your post to post the pic.

If you don't know how to do HTML, just do a search on google or whatever for HTML image tag or something to tell you how to use that particular HTML tag.

Aaaaah, cool, thanks for the advice, John...

I think I'm gonna take a course about websites soon, I'll practise here, then :D

I don't think I could put my desk top on as it contains "Custromers information of which is confendital with my workplace"
