Well, it depends on who's here at what times. It's hard to say, since there are people from so many parts of the globe that congregate here.

 

At our rates, though, I think the summer sounds somewhat plausible.

I'm sorry. That's the one place I have to go to before I die. I've seen pictures. THe architecture and landscapes are so gorgeous.

 

What's it like?

I was mildly disappointed. It was just as lovely as you described and as you'd expect, but it smelled! haha. A minor annoyance and maybe only due to my snobby American nostrils. But it's what I remember most about Italy :)

Maybe, but not all Americans have snobby nostrils, after all. And really, if it's that pretty (particularly what I've seen of Tuscany), then it'd be totally worth it. :)

sadly didn't make it to Tuscany. And I don't mean to say you shouldn't go. Venice in particular was just...indescribable.

Ahhh, I've seen pics of Venice, too. I really just wanna make a round trip throughout the entire country, so I can see everything. I really look forward to authentic Italian food. Not that Olive Garden isn't good, but I'm sure the real thing is even better.
