am i the only one here who was a effected (and still effected might i mind you) by the power outages and still able to get online? :( we live about 20 minutes from Detroit which is in south eastern michigan and supposely, were going to get our power on last. :( and, its fucking pitch black outside at night and inside pretty much cause no power except the tv running on the generator. :( i cant stand the dark. plus, when ever i need to do my plug-in inhaler (nebulizer) i have to go to my moms. :(

you're not the only one! we had our power out from 4:10pm to 6:10am!

.................................................

It wasn't good without electricity. The main problem was that the air conditioner wasn't working, and the fridge would not work either. It was nice though, without all the lights, you could see the stars perfectly at night!

that's something i'd want to see someday sky at night without any light from earth

we survived.............BUT if the power wasnt on do ya think we'd be able to see your message!!!!!! yahhhhhhhh

i am a happy dilll hole.

yes. i am a happy happy dill hole.

now we can see it because the powers back on for some places.

holly cock you do crack me up man! :D

Mostly people were ok but there were some elderly people that passed away because of the heat and no electricity. Also there were tones of car accidents because people didn't obey the rule that when the traffic lights are out it is a four-way stop so there were many accidents, and a few fatalities I do believe. People were stuck in elevators and on the subway for many hours until they could be rescued.

Never in my life have I heard so many fire engines drive by as on Thursday night when the power first went out. I don't know why there were so many but it was kinda scary :(
